Three days. That is how long Brenna and Varun's wedding lasted, and each day felt like a different chapter of the same story. Varun's family brought the traditions of India. Brenna's family brought the warmth of Germany. Both families are American at heart, and somehow all of it sat together naturally out among the vines in South San Jose.
What struck me most was the crowd. Large weddings can sometimes feel overwhelming or performative. This one did not. The relatives on both sides were genuinely easy with each other, full of warmth and excitement that did not need to be manufactured. It came from the people themselves.
Three days of light, laughter, different outfits, different rituals, and a vineyard patient enough to hold all of it.
