Every session starts with a conversation. I want to understand what this moment means to you before I pick up a camera. That conversation shapes everything else. The location, the timing, how I move through the day with you.
"This page is not a list of deliverables. It is a window into how I work."
I photograph people. Couples, families, individuals, at the points in your life that you will actually want to remember. I am not trying to do a lot of these. I am trying to make pictures that hold up. The kind you can come back to in ten years and still feel something.
I do not deliver everything I shoot. I edit carefully and give you the strongest images. Typically 40 to 60 for a one-hour session. Your private gallery arrives within three weeks, full resolution, no watermarks. The images are yours to keep, print, and share.
Carefully edited, fully yours.

I work calmly. I give you things to do rather than poses to hold. I move around you rather than asking you to move for me. Most people forget I am there after the first fifteen minutes. That is when the real photographs happen. I stay until I have what we came for.
Quiet, present, unrushed.

I spend time understanding what you are trying to capture and why it matters to you. We discuss location, timing, what to wear, and what you are hoping to feel when you look at these photos years from now. I scout locations when needed. Nothing about the day is left to chance.
We talk first. Properly.
01
A proper conversation before we meet. Location scouting, timing discussion, what to wear, what to expect. You should arrive feeling prepared, not anxious.
• Pre-session consultation
I work almost entirely in available light. I schedule sessions around the best light, not the most convenient time slot.
• Natural light throughout
Warm, timeless, film-influenced. Natural skin tones. No heavy presets or filters that will look dated in five years.
• Careful, consistent editing
Full resolution downloads, no watermarks, easy sharing. Delivered within three weeks of your session date.
• Private online gallery
You receive the strongest 40 to 60 images from a one-hour session. I choose for you. More is not always more.
• A curated edit, not a dump
I am not running to the next booking. I take on fewer sessions so I can give each one the attention it deserves.
• Genuine presence
I photograph people at the points in life worth remembering. Each session type has its own pace and its own logic.
Thoughtful portraits of individuals and couples, made with calm direction and natural light. Whether it is a milestone, a quiet chapter, or simply a desire to be seen clearly, these sessions are unhurried and personal.
I work outdoors whenever the light allows. The Bay Area gives us remarkable locations and I am happy to suggest the right one for you.
Honest documentation of families, focused on connection rather than perfection. I photograph families gently, letting moments unfold naturally. The goal is not posed smiles but photographs that feel like memories.
I have photographed some families five times across different years and milestones. That kind of continuity produces something no single session can.
Full wedding coverage, engagement sessions, and private celebrations. I work across all kinds of weddings. Intimate courthouse ceremonies with a handful of friends, multi-day cultural celebrations, vineyard evenings, mountain hikes.
I limit the weddings I take each year. If you are planning and the dates align, reach out sooner rather than later.
That final stretch before everything changes. I photograph maternity sessions in natural light, at golden hour when possible. The sessions are calm and unhurried. Some of the most beautiful images I have made came from these.
Birthdays, bar mitzvahs, baptisms, first birthdays. The celebrations that matter to your family. I photograph events the same way I photograph everything else: quietly, paying attention, without disrupting the thing that is actually happening.
